I've had a few instances in which clients have other apps installed in subdirectories in public_html and, after applying security measures, those are no longer accessible. a 404 error is retued. In two cases, the last security measure to be applied is, "Restrict access to files and directories." That one doesn't revert. Other than restoring a backup, is there any way to overcome this issue?

I recently updated "Host Access Control" and it appears I have locked myself out from WHM and I do not have SSH access. I have tried access from multiple ip addresses but it is definitely completely blocked, I just get a error when accessing WHM.

I'm ruing into an issue whereby PHP-FPM and subsequently apache crashes randomly. Taking a look back at the logs during this time, it appears php-fpm child processes are timing out and terminating (this floods the log file). During this time, all new http requests are blocked and all hosted websites appear down. What's interesting is I have request_terminate_timeout set to 120s however, the actual timeout exceeded in the log file is substantially higher ~1200s.

We recently installed the mod_pagespeed apache module through EA4 and it is removing part of our optimization code. In particular if it detects the "preload" and "onLoad" directives then it removes the entire line. That means we have for our css line completely removed which causes site issues.
Is there anyway to stop mod_pagespeed from removing or stripping code away from our html page?

I was wondering how secure the cgi-bin directory is. I need to read a Google spreadsheet and display some of its contents on a webpage. This means I need to have login credentials in a script inside of the cgi-bin directory. Since this is in the public_html/cgi-bin directory, does this mean that these login credentials would be accessible to the outside world, or is it not possible for others to see the contents of these scripts?
